KNURLING DIFFERENCE VERY EARLY FIRST ISSUES HAVE KNURLING OF APPROX 50 DEGREES WHERE KNURLING IS FOUND OF VARIOUS DEPTHS FROM LIGHT TO HEAVY AND SPACING GROOVES BETWEEN KNURLES IS DIFFERENT WIDTHS. LATER SECOND TYPE HAS A KNURLING DEGREE OF APPROX 60 DEGREES AND DEPTH APPEARS MORE COMPACT AND CONSISTANT. EARLY ON LEFT LATER ON RIGHT |
